Actually, the look of today's tomorrowland is from just a few years ago, when everything was remodeled to look retro future. Retro future=pointy and mostly gray. Future humans don't like colors.
Yet it's still mixed with original Tomorrowland, which was what 1980 would look like as imagined in 1955. That now looks like one of those boost-the-local-economy shopping center projects sponsored by the government that never really took off.
One other thing: how can a regular car ride be in tomorrowland? It's not even funny enough for me to comment that it should be in todayland. Maybe they should have put in a laundry ride or a yard work ride.
